John 17:15-22
Jesus Said; “I do not ask Thee to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. "Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. "As Thou didst send Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. "And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. "I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me”.

During a Lay Renewal Weekend prayer, music and worship are key elements of our program and play a major roll in the weekend experience.
Through the sharing of their own experience, the renewal teams will work to help congregational members develop, and deepen personal relationships with Jesus Christ, and encourage them to commit themselves to service through the use of their God given talents. Every weekend is different, and every weekend is special.
LLR is not a panacea for all the problems encountered by a sick and degenerating society, nor are we “Super Christians” coming down from the mountain top to save the world. Basically we are just ordinary men and women who have encountered Christ in our lives and we want to share that joy with others.
